Garden & Farm Camps

Our new youth programs will be held in-person with reduced capacity and increased safety health precautions recommended by the Washington State Department of Health. Precautions include: limiting camp group sizes; conducting daily temperature checks; increasing sanitization of surfaces; maximizing outdoor time, staggering activity times, and practicing social distancing to the greatest extent possible. Read our Safety Plan for Camps.

Farm & Garden Camps

Farm & Garden Youth Programs

Is your child ready to dig into the worlds of the farm, garden, and kitchen this year? At both the Good Shepherd Center and Rainier Beach Urban and Wetlands, participants will find out where food comes from as they care for the crops in Tilth’s gardens and farm and engage in outdoor science, art, and play.

Our programs are informed by Learning in Places materials that are aligned with Next Generation Science Standards and emphasize equitable, field-based experiences for children. We actively work to incorporate family and community knowledge into our programming as we learn together in our farm, gardens, and wetlands.

Tilth Alliance has been offering children’s garden education for more than three decades. We provide a positive, structured and educational outdoor learning environment. Many kids return year after year to experience the variety of opportunities at various ages and we love seeing returning campers, as well as meeting new ones!

Scholarships & Sliding Scale

Our sliding scale provides general guidelines for what families may be expected to pay for camp. We take a variety of factors into account when determining financial awards and ask that you provide as much detail as possible regarding your family's circumstances on the scholarship application.

Member & Donor Discounts

Tilth Alliance members and donors receive a $5 discount on mini-camps and a $10 discount on weeklong summer camps – make your gift online today!
