Get involved, meet people, and learn new skills as a volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Tilth Alliance! Volunteering is a great way to learn and build skills, meet new people, and get involved in Tilth Alliance's mission.

To get started as a Tilth Alliance volunteer, please:
  1. Complete a Volunteer/Intern Registration Form
  2. Attend a Volunteer Orientation (optional)
  3. Sign up for current volunteer opportunities below!

SPECIAL EVENTS & POP-UPS 

  • Children's Garden Pop-up Work Parties in Wallingford
    Come see the new garden take shape! Join us for pop-up work parties in the Children's Garden at the Good Shepherd Center. Our next event will be on Wednesday, January 22, 11am-1pm (please note that the date has been rescheduled from Jan. 15 due to snow). All ages are welcome. Sign up to help!

COMMUNITY KITCHEN & GOOD FOOD BAG PROGRAM 
     
    Help our staff pack produce bags to make fresh, locally-grown fruits and veggies available to more members of our community. It's a great opportunity for individuals and small groups to volunteer and give back! Please note that this volunteer opportunity is now located in its new home at Rainier Beach Urban Farm & Wetlands!
    Tuesdays, 2-4 p.m. & 5-7 p.m.
    Wednesdays, 10 a.m.-noon & noon-2 p.m.

    Join Tilth Alliance and the Friends of Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands at Seattle's largest urban farm! Community Kitchen volunteers help to prepare and cook food, set the tables, and clean up after. Volunteers are welcome to join the meal! Check the schedule and sign up to volunteer!
