Soil and Water Stewards

Volunteer portal for existing soil and water stewards, including volunteer signups and information.

Thank you for your commitment to building healthy soil and protecting our watershed! Below, please find volunteer shifts specifically for graduates of Tilth Alliance's soil and water stewardship training.

Find a shift that fits your availability based on the calendar below, or look through a list of opportunities based on the type of project. We will update these opportunities throughout the year. Note that *SWS* in the job name means the job is specific to soil and water stewards.

After signing up for a shift, you'll receive an email confirming your registration and a link to a page where you can see your upcoming shifts and track your volunteer hours.

To report hours for your group project, see the "Report Hours" section at the bottom of this page.







You can report volunteers hours from your "Volunteers Personal Site." Use the below form to get the link to your site emailed to you. The link is also included in an email confirmation for scheduled shifts.

From the site, click "Report Hours" from the navigation menu, then select the associated volunteer job from the drop-down menu. All Soil and Water Steward shifts begin with *SWS*.

For scheduled shifts, select the date and time of the shift worked and confirm the number of volunteer hours. For reporting group project hours, select your group project side and enter the start date, end date, and number of volunteer hours worked. Enter a description of your work in the comments, then click "Submit."
