Updates from Tilth Alliance
Dear Friends of Tilth Alliance,
We are hard at work transforming our programming amidst the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure we are able to meet the needs of our community. Here are a few quick important updates:
- All classes are currently being held live, online via Zoom! These interactive, 90-minute classes include interactive lecture with slide shows, demonstrations and time for question-and-answer sessions. Learn more + sign up.
- We are reintroducing volunteer work parties at our farm and gardens with extra safety and health precautions. Read about those protocols and sign up for a work party today.
- The Garden Hotline is operating at full capacity! Call or email with your gardening questions.
- We continue to distribute Good Food Bags to families in need. Our CSA and farm stand at Rainier Beach Urban Farm & Wetlands are scheduled to launch June 18.
- Signing up for a local community support agriculture (CSA) program is a great way to help out farmers and producers feeling the impacts of market and restaurant closures. Find local CSAs on the Farm Guide.
- Planning for Tilth Conference 2020 is underway. We look forward to sharing more soon.
Find information and resources on food safety, activities for home-bound seniors and children, recipes, gardening tips, and more below. We hope these resources are useful as we all do our part in addressing this challenge.
